Located at the top of Harbour Centre in downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver Lookout offers breathtaking panoramic views from 553 feet (168.6 meters) above the city. Your adventure begins in our glass elevator, which takes just 40 seconds to reach the observation deck.
From the observation deck, you’ll enjoy 360-degree views of historic Gastown, bustling downtown, Coal Harbour, and the world-famous Stanley Park. Whether you visit during the day or evening, the views are spectacular.
Hours of Operation
The Vancouver Lookout welcomes visitors year-round:
- Summer (May–September): 8:30am–10:30pm
- Winter (October–April): 9:00am–9:00pm

Kids Activities
Children love the Vancouver Lookout! Our specially designed Junior Pilot Program combines sightseeing, entertainment, and learning. Kids can participate in fun activities while discovering Vancouver from above. Ask staff about the Junior Pilot Program during your visit.
Location and Transportation
Vancouver Lookout is located at 555 West Hastings Street, between Seymour Street (one-way north) and Richards Street (one-way south).
Walking: We’re centrally located in downtown Vancouver, within walking distance of major hotels, the Vancouver Convention Centre, the cruise ship terminal, and historic Gastown.
Public Transit: Harbour Centre is directly across from Waterfront Station, where you can access SkyTrain, Canada Line (connecting to Vancouver International Airport), and SeaBus (to North Vancouver). City bus stops are located in front of and behind the building.
Parking: The most convenient nearby parking is at 450 West Cordova Street. Passenger drop-off and pick-up zones are designated on Richards and Seymour Streets.
